Emergency services responded to a fatal incident in Sydney’s Central Business District on Tuesday afternoon after a young man died following a fall from a building at the intersection of Kent Street and Market Street.
Police, NSW Ambulance paramedics, and other emergency responders were called to the scene at approximately 2:20 p.m. after reports of a person falling from a building in the busy commercial precinct. Upon arrival, emergency crews immediately began life-saving efforts, with police and paramedics performing CPR in an attempt to revive the man. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The incident prompted a significant emergency response, with multiple police vehicles and ambulances attending the area. Officers established a security perimeter around the scene, while temporary restrictions were put in place to allow investigators and emergency personnel to carry out their work safely.
